The Blue Lagoon is a unique geothermal spa where visitors can relax in warm geothermal and mineral rich seawater, surrounded with magical lava fields and black sandy beaches. The geothermal water is led to the Blue Lagoon from deep wells and the water stays warm and inviting throughout the whole year, regardless of the weather.
An indoor Blue Lagoon, geothermal sauna and a Blue Lagoon waterfall are also there. The Blue Lagoon’s warm water and natural active ingredients; mineral salts, silica and blue green algae will help you relax and escape the stress and strain of every day life.
The Blue Lagoon’s white silica mud, deposits from the water, gently cleanses the skin and has a revitalizing effect while the blue green algae softens the skin. Bathing in this surreal environment is a unique experience that no one should miss and to many visitors this is the highlight of their visit to the country.

Discounts: Free for children under age 12 in care of adults. 50% discount for youths under the age of 18 (accompanied by an adult).

The return trip does not have to be booked at the time you book your tour. Just tell the driver on your way to the Blue Lagoon which bus you would like to take to help us plan.
